Aragorn was injured showjumping and is now almost ready for a home as a companion. Possible light riding may be possible - but it may also not be. If you want a riding horse, he is not your man.

Rassi and her son Goldie will soon be ready for adoption to an experienced home with shelter and dry ground. They will need close care and management of hooves as both recovering from white line disease and founder (Goldie).

IN REHABILITATION

Xena was bred to race and was born with bowed front legs. She is a 2 year young thoroughbred and is currently under rehabilitation. She will be available for adoption in the future.

Could be adopted locally - within 20 mins of Mullumbimby until we complete his hoof rehabilitation. Approx 17 hands 5 year young TB gelding.

Teddy is under rehabilitation from a racing injury. Born in 2021, this gorgeous, handsom and spirited thoroughbred gelding is available for adoption in Northern NSW due to needing ongoing observation and treatment. We expect Teddy to be ready to be rehomed further afield in late 2025. Best suited to an experienced home.

Tara is a standard bred mare. She is calm, confident and easy to lead, transport etc. Tara can be rather dominant to other horses and needs a patient and gentle trimmer. Born 2014.

Merlin and Magic are best friends and were rescued from a "meat paddock" together. They are sweet and harmonious and Melrin has a larger than life personality. Merlin has melanoma (like many grey horses) and will need a special home to let him live in peace and comfort.

Arthur standard bred gelding who is very intelligent and expressive. This horse is one in a gazillion - for the right person looking to go on a journey of discovery. He is beautiful to lead and although he can be nervous he is fast to learn. Born 2018.

Faith is a beautiful standard bred mare who was used as a breeding horse. Faith arrived traumatised and has a small growth in eye that is resolving. She need a gentle, experienced handler and access to a lot of shade. She has suffered itch in Northern NSW. She is a horse who is friendly and needs a lovely new chapter. Born 2010. Needs patient, kind trimmer.

READY TO ADOPT - special home only.

Zara is a TB mare and was rescued from a neglect situation. She still needs extra TLC and has some health issues that mean she is unlikely to be a riding horse - definitely a gentle and loving companion. Due to her neglect, Zara does not look great. She was born approximately 2001 and needs a loving home where she can enjoy some years of kindness. She is a true rescue and you would need to be comfortable with a far from perfect looking horse - due to a sway back and an unusual walk.

Thor is a highly spirited standard bred 8 year old gelding who is courageous and even though he has been trained as a harness racing horse - he is still a bit on the wild side. He will need an experienced home and can bee veery dominant to other horses. Born approx 2015. Thor is flighty and would need horse safe fencing - no barbed wire.

STILL HEALING

River is an ex trotting horse with a knee injury. He will never be ridden but he will be your best friend. River is best friends with Sophia and they are both still under hoof rehabilitation.

Sophia (formerly Hope) is under hoof rehabilitation. She was very timid on arrival and is a sweet, 21 year young black beauty. She has a previous knee injury - definitely a horse for loving only - no riding or expectations - she deserves a beautiful, caring retirement.

ADOPT IN NORTHERN NSW

Peppermint is a young standard bred horse who was injured on the track and meant to be put down. He still has a limp and would be best to find a gentle, flat and loving home in Northern NSW, Australia so he can keep close to care and keep in a warmer climate.
